Warranty

Global Syn-Turf, Inc., (a.k.a. GST) warrants our synthetic turf for 15 years from the date of synthetic turf installation, when it is installed and maintained as recommended by the turf manufacturer. If any area or portion of the turf substantially changes, as distinguished from a change in texture within ten years after its initial installation, GST will have all such areas or portions replaced, excluding installation costs. GST also warrants that at the time of the initial turf installation, the synthetic turf will be free of manufacturing defects. Slight color changes will occur over the lifetime of this turf and are not considered an issue or basis for a claim. All labor costs involved with the removal of the affected turf and reinstallation of the replacement will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Subject to the following limitations:

General provisions of this limited warranty apply to the wear of the turf with regard to ultraviolet degradation, and do not apply to damage incurred during installation, improper underlay, pile crushing, willful or negligent abuses, or damage by machinery or equipment, nor does it apply when the turf is not installed by a professional installer.

​

The expressed limited warranty excludes all implied warranties, and said manufacturer shall in no event be liable for a breach of warranty in any amount exceeding the invoice price of the turf.

Limitations on Coverage

This warranty does not cover:

​

1. Damage from accidents, vandalism, abuse and neglect.

2. Acts of God (including earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters).

3. Use of chemicals and improper cleaning methods.

4. Failure to properly maintain, protect and/or repair the turf.

5. Damage that occurs during the shipping/transportation process. All shipping claims must be filed against the freight company in question.

6. Damage caused by reflection (melting) or other flammable materials.

7. Synthetic turf is subject to normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect and therefore is not covered by this warranty.

 

Limitations on Liability:

Purchaser must promptly inspect all products upon delivery. Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, to the extent that any defects, shortages, or non-conformities in the products are discoverable by inspection upon delivery of the products, all obligations of GST to purchaser with respect to such defects, shortages, and non- conformities shall be deemed satisfied, and all products shall be deemed to be free of such defects, shortages, and non-conformities, unless Purchaser notifies GST of such defects, shortages, or non-conformities in writing within 30 days after the date of delivery.

 

Assignment:

Purchaser may not transfer, convey, or otherwise assign all or any of its rights under this warranty without prior written consent of GST. Any such transfer or assignment without prior written consent shall be null and void and of no force or effect.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Tiger Turf Manufacture Warranty

Tiger Turf Manufacture’s Warranty is as follows if you have purchased synthetic grass manufactured by Tiger Turf.

​

Tiger Turf Warrants that if the synthetic grass IT manufactured and supplied proves to be defective in materials or workmanship resulting in premature wear, during normal use of the product, within fifteen years from the date of manufacture, or suffers significant fading, breakdown or degradation due to exposure of natural ultraviolet rays within the same fifteen (15) year period, tiger turf will, at its sole option either 1) repair or replace the affected area without charge to the purchaser, or 2) issue a credit equal to the cost of the synthetic grass material. For the purpose of this warranty the product shall be deemed to have failed in ultra-violet stability if the original tensile strength of the product decreases by more than 50 percent.

Proration is as follows: Years 1-8 (100%), Years 9-12 (50%), years 13-15 (25%).

​

In the event that Tiger Turf elects to issue a credit in lieu of repair or replacement, said credit shall only apply to the affected area of the synthetic grass giving rise to the claim. The credit shall be issued to the retailer, as a percentage of the replacement cost of new synthetic grass of the same or comparable quality. The credit will be good only toward the purchase of tiger turf synthetic grass. There will be no cash payment.

-This warranty only applies to synthetic grass products that have been purchased and professionally installed by certified installer.

​

-This warranty is limited to the remedies of repair or replacement of the affected areas of the synthetic grass.

​

-This warranty does not cover the installation of the synthetic grass or any issues stemming from the installation.

​

-This warranty does not cover surface deterioration resulting from normal wear and tear or any damages caused by site conditions and improper in installation beyond its control, accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, exposure of the product to inappropriate footwear (i.e metal cleats), tobacco products, chemicals or cleaning agents, fire, floods, vandalism, acts of God.

-This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from repair or attempted repair by anyone other than tiger turf’s, or it’s authorized agents, retailers or subcontractors.

​

-Tiger Turf hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and disclaims liability for incidental or consequential damages.

​

-Tiger turf specifically excludes and will not pay consequential or incidental damages under this warranty. This includes any damages arising our of or in connection with the use of performance of the synthetic grass, including, but not limited to damages for economic loss, expense, personal injury etc.

​

-This warranty is non-transferable. this warranty is only extended to the original purchaser.

​

-All warranty claims must be presented in a timely fashion to Tiger Turf as a printed description with photos as soon as an issue with the synthetic grass becomes evident.

​

-This warranty does not cover sun magnification and melting from Lowe E windows or matting.

Care and Maintenance

​

Installing artificial grass is the first step towards simplifying your landscape’s care and maintenance requirements. You’ll be able to enjoy the precious amounts of time and money you will save by making the switch.

​

Clear Debris:

By eliminating the need for mowing, trimming, and heavily watering your landscape, your primary focus will be on keeping it clean. This includes using a rake or leaf blower to regularly clear debris such as fallen leaves, branched, and other rotting foliage that may land on your landscape. In this regard, synthetic grass is quite similar to real grass.

Occasional Rinse:

While water isn’t necessary for your grass to retain a green and lush look, occasionally rinsing it with a hose is a great way to remove dust, dirt, debris, and pollen. It also evens out the distribution of infill so that it remains perfectly upright for years at a time.

​

Spills and Other Messes:

Our artificial grass landscaping systems are designed to be used and enjoyed. Occasional spills are commonplace and they shouldn’t be concerning. Every artificial turf product we install is stain resistant and easy to clean. Cleaning up a mess is as easy as rinsing it off with a bit of water. For major spills or complicated messes we recommend scrubbing it out using mild soap with lukewarm water or equal parts water and equal parts vinegar. The faster you respond to spills, the easier the cleanup process will be. Artificial grass allows you and your guests to enjoy your landscape with peace of mind.

Cleaning Up After Pets:

Pets large and small enjoy Five Star Turf’s artificial grass landscaping, and cleaning up is as easy as it is on real grass. Just pick up their leavings with a scooper or plastic bag, and hose down the targeted area to reduce possible odors. Easy-grass also offers Turf Fresh and Artificial Turf Deodorizer (ATD) that can help prevent and eliminate unpleasant odors caused by pets.
